Hope you're having a wonderful Christmas! Please join us in less than an hour for a historic discussion on the anniversary of Washington's crossing of the Delaware with Friederike Baer on her book, "Hessians: German Soldiers in the American Revolutionary War," from @OxUniPress at HistoryCamp.org/discussions. At this time in 1776 they had begun their crossing. It took 11 hours, and it wasn't until 3 am that they began their 10 mile march to Trenton. Two of his men froze to death that night.
