Alongside today’s book launch, Mayor Cllr Darren Byford & @BElliottAuthor officially revealed new permanent displays here at @NCMME.
They’re dedicated to the stories of miners who contributed so much in wartime, including the remarkable ‘Tunnellers’ of the First World War.

All of us at @NCMME were proud to host a very special event today: the launch of @BElliottAuthor’s major new publication ‘Miners at War’.
Thank you @PaulDragonwolf1 for such poignant poetry readings and Andy Featherstone for sharing his remarkable memorabilia collection too.
