My review of @LucyHH new book ‘Scapegoat’ is out now in the January ‘25 edition of BBC History Magazine @HistoryExtra. The book is a wonderfully insightful account of the life and career of the Duke of Buckingham, & a rip-roaring journey through early Stuart society. Recommend.

Gold medal made to commemorate the death of Prince Henry, the eldest son of James VI & I. He would have succeeded his father as King of Scotland, England & Ireland had he not died in 1612. This is one of the @hunterian objects we’ll be handling at the upcoming @KingJamesConf.
