20 years ago the main pub nr New Cross Gate station had boarded up windows with LAGER DALEKS scrawled on em. Crusties openly sold acid & speed. Next to it was a squatted hash cafe. Regular fights in the streets.This women has no idea how mental it was, if anything its gentrified

There seemed to be some suggestion from #spycop #robhastings at the Inquiry that the No Borders London meetings he attended in 2006/7 were not fully open to the public. As can been seen from the group's blog, the regular meetings at Transport House were publicly advertised

A few #spycops reports on No Borders 2006/7 from today's undercover policing inquiry hearing. Weird as ever hearing meetings & demos you attended years ago being discussed in this way. Important to focus not just on cops who were there but on people trying to do good stuff

@ARspycatcher I guess we all look in the mirror and kid ourselves we look younger than we do, but these guys remind me of an episode of Buffy where their toxic work accelerated their ageing. Or maybe it's all a trick to make us feel sorry for the 'poor ould fellas'

Robert Hastings was handpicked, as were all of the #spycops. They were deemed to have the attributes required to do the job. As we have seen with the horrific #MI5 case this week, it would appear that one of the key attributes of British state agents is being an abuser.

@Donna__McLean And Rob Hastings was chosen by managers as having the right attributes for being a #spycop. And probably after having had psychometric testing as well. Some of these managers have been granted anonymity, but they all bear responsibility for what happened to the amazing Maya.
