@breadandposes how is he going to fund the social care and council housing promises tho. all the signs are that he's keeping Starmer's punitive regime against migrants and welfare dependents. but there's a load of "growth friendly" social policies with big £££ tags too. will he scrap them too.

@breadandposes dunno but Burnham has promised everything to everyone so far. so I'm guessing there will be competing pressures on the pair of em. if Burnham torches his social programme to keep the yanks happy he will hurtle down the same slope as Starmer. atm that is likely but not bolted on.
