@WestStandBogs It’s nothing to do with the virus or force majeure. Basically our grounds for appeal is that the sale to the new owner was ratified by the EFL only 4 weeks prior. Add to that the fact it looks like we’ve been a victim of fraud both in terms of a bet and possible stock ex fraud.

Can someone factually explain the reason for the Latics appeal? I understand the ownership stuff but I'm genuinely struggling to piece together their argument for appealing the deduction & how likely it would be.

@Kieron06636101 @ChrisMedlandF1 I know the facts. His dad worked two jobs, two well paid jobs. That made him rich enough to fund an elitist sport for his son. I didn't say Anthony was born rich, I said he was wealthy enough to fund an elistist hobby for his son and that gave him the gateway into formula one.

The more Hamilton speaks out, the more I find myself agreeing with him. So many people saying: "Well why doesn't Lewis do X or Y?" He shouldn't have to! Seeking racial equality doesn't mean the black guy has to do all the work and lead. He's asking others to work with him #F1

@ChrisMedlandF1 Make karting and racing more accessible to poor kids who's parents can't or won't spend a fortune backing them and you'll see a lot more disadvantaged kids including black kids coming through. Skin colour doesn't stop them, wealth does.

@ChrisMedlandF1 F1 is the most elitist sport there is. You aren't excluded from being a driver because of your skin colour, you're excluded because your parents aren't rich enough to fund your lavish ambitions. Lewis Hamilton is a driver because his dad was rich enough for him to do karting

@ChrisMedlandF1 Isn't it safety related to tell the driver that they're on the wrong tyre for the track conditions?

What they can't do is call them in or tell them to make changes that will lead to a better performance (includes new tyres) after leaving for the formation lap. Basically, the teams can only give the driver information that is safety-related on the formation lap #F1 #HungarianGP

It's not illegal. Teams can tell drivers to make that call on the formation lap for themselves in the chat before they get in the car. The driver then assesses the conditions on the formation lap and can still tell their team they're coming in and what they want. 1/2 #F1
