Why I Cannot Be Silent A person recently reached out to me, saying that I am too critical of Trump and the current U.S. administration — and that, as a Christian, I should be more uplifting. I appreciate the concern. But it is precisely because I follow Jesus that I cannot remain silent in the face of a morally bankrupt government. History teaches us a sobering lesson. Most Christians in Germany did not speak out against Hitler. In fact, many supported him, helping to solidify his authoritarian power. But there were also those who refused to remain silent. Among them was Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who said: “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” As a Christian, I cannot choose silence when truth, justice, and human dignity are at stake. To be uplifting does not mean ignoring evil; it means standing against it in both word and deed. That is why I will not be silent.

i do. i love it. but yes, taste differs acc to varieties (don't ask me; i just know some taste too bland and mid while others taste nice). they are great as guac, with lime juice drizzled, with seasoning, on sourdough, on a chipotle bowl, in a grain bowl. not a fan of avo shakes.

@The_QVDS Not to spoil the fun, but to get clarification. How are these royal weddings, when none of the participants are royal? Sure, weddings within the wider royal family, given parent and grandparents. Royals will attend, but maybe reserve the term royal weddings for the real thing.

Alongside the customary highlights, TTC, Garter and Ascot Week, there will be not one, but two royal weddings to enjoy: On Sat, June 6, Peter Phillips is set to wed Harriet Sperling! Then, on Sat, June 20, I can reveal that Lady Marina Charlotte will marry Nico Macauley! So much fun!
