It's amazing how many people truly want you to fail, I had so much opposition or negativity w/ regard to two artistic pursuits, little to no help whatsoever. I used to cry so much from age 19 to 23 or thereabouts, you are made to feel like a failure.

I just had to find people who encouraged me to realize my ambitions/goals are achievable. You can say 'what if the best things happen', instead of being afraid. I always had dreams, but burnout was real when ppl pressure/beat ya down late teens/early 20s.

If I could do it all over again I would have become a process engineer in Livingston Parish, married a 7.5 / 10 from Southeastern, moved to Covington & never give a thought to anything beyond LSU football, fishing, and a vague antipathy towards "thugs".

I don't know how I got here in the first place and have no idea how I would repeat it.
