🚗 Obtaining a Category B driving licence has been a big dream for Sophia, 22. Having never seen any girl driving in her community, she went for it and succeeded. Sophia is part of the SOYEE Programme, advancing access to employable skills for 80 young people in @NyaruguruDistr.

Yesterday, with our partner @IImbaraga, we hosted the @RwandaAgri delegation led by Permanent Secretary @olivikam for a visit to the hydroponic greenhouse in @BugeseraDistr, a newly established, climate-resilient agricultural facility for a 30-member youth cooperative. [1/1]

@PlanRwandaCD was received today by the Minister of @RwandaYouthArts, @jnabdallah, and the Minister of State, @XandrineUmutoni, during a courtesy visit to discuss bilateral partnerships under our signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on youth empowerment in Rwanda.

Today, Minister @jnabdallah and MoS @XandrineUmutoni met with Emilie Fernandes, Country Director of @PlanRwanda, and her team to advance collaboration on youth empowerment and development priorities in Rwanda.

14 youth graduated in bicycle mechanics and 16 in tailoring from the #Bike4Future project recently undertook a study tour at @WCC_Musanze and UFACO Garments Ltd in the Kigali Special Economic Zone. This tour aimed to strengthen participants' practical skills. #YouthEmpowerment

Refugees from Kigeme Camp are improving their livelihoods & nutrition through mushroom farming. With support from @WFP_Rwanda_CD & @PlanRwanda, refugees have set up Ubuzima Bwiza Shop, a company that grows and sells mushroom in the camp & Nyamagabe town.
