One of my favorite things about Knights of the Old Republic II is that almost every non-droid companion you get can eventually be trained to use the force. Not only that, but it's actually plot relevant.

the solo non jedi/sith SWTOR campaigns makes you feel like the best star wars glup shitto.
your story arc is great but ultimately small in the grand scheme of things. i think more RPGs should feel like you’re not THE chosen one even though the stakes are still high

The best (and, paradoxically, the worst) quality of SWTOR is that it's essentially a single-player RPG sitting on top of a vast open MMO world. It tells an epic, fully voiced story, but asks that you don't look too closely at the seams and wonder why the galaxy barely changes.
