This dude is like a broken record with his “riding coattails” line. It’s seriously not healthy. It’s kind of sad for him to go out of his way to litigate my vocation with this kind of protracted energy. I refuse to apologize for believing in Tim and Mark from the very start — even as envious clowns in indie comics tried to poison the well against them. It brings me great joy to see them grow and thrive. I can’t wait to see where their creative sails take them in the years ahead! ☺️🙏

Mayan artisans created this standing warrior figure between AD 650 and 800, during the Late Classic period. A closer look reveals a detailed headdress and scarification marks above his eyebrows, indicating his status as a military commander. Alongside the rectangular shield, he likely once gripped a now-lost wooden spear in his other hand. It was made in Jaina, a small limestone rubble man-made island off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, in the state of Campeche, Mexico. The name Jaina comes from the Mayan word "H'aina," meaning "house of the water." The island served as an elite Maya burial site. Only 1,000 of its estimated 20,000 graves have been excavated, and the high number of figurines associated with the burial sites (on the island and in the surrounding areas of the Yucatan Peninsula) gives rise to the "Jaina style figurines." Made of orange clay and mostly painted in ochres and blues, as you can see in this warrior's belt and shield, these "Jaina style figurines" are among the finest in Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica. @J0hnADouglas it IS hard to find books I like. My local B&N doesn't sell them. Small book shops don't sell them. If it weren't for X I'd have not found many of the authors that I read. Does B&N care I don't buy books from them? Nope. Days of the great bookstores are gone.
