#MyCareStory. I have MS. In 2017 and again in 2018, I underwent significant treatment to wipe out@& reset my immune system. I couldn't be around people for weeks each time. #multiplesclerosisawareness. We all need #TimetoCareMD #SB275 @SenBillFerg @SpeakerAJones.

A couple of years ago I was hospitalized & needed surgery. I was bed ridden & needed extended leave to heal. Nobody should have to choose between caring for themselves or their loved ones & needed income. We all need #TimeToCareMD! #MyCareStory @SenBillFerg @SpeakerAJones #MDGA22

My twin brother + I were born 14 weeks premature, & me w/ tetralogy of fallot. We spent 2 months in the NICU. I'm so grateful my mom had the ability to be off work to care for us - and believe all parents & families deserve #TimeToCareMD. #MyCareStory @SenBillFerg @SpeakerAJones

When I was pregnant with our son, I was on bedrest for 7 weeks. I needed that time to ensure he would be healthy. And after he was born, I needed time to care for him and bond. All parents need #TimeToCareMd #MyCareStory @SenBillFerg @SpeakerAJones

I have multiple autoimmune diseases as well. Personal medical leave and paid family leave would take some of the boulders off of our shoulder! #MyCareStory

#MyCareStory isn't over. After my autoimmune diagnosis came a cancer diagnosis. After cancer surgery came a dysautonomia diagnosis. Lots of diseases are not curable and have life long impacts. Not sure what I would do without my partner taking time to care for me. #TimeToCareMD
