what if I said that this happens to so many people that focus on fictional characters because male characters are often more compelling or entertaining because writers allow them to have more interesting and dynamic personalities

for context: Brian Stelfreeze drew Showcase '94 #12, Oracle's first solo appearance & where her usage of escrima sticks was first established. When Stelfreeze redesigned Nightwing's costume in 1995, he gave Dick escrima sticks because he thought they were super cool weapons

I'm gonna go further in depth about the inherently misogynistic way Jean was killed off in the 2000s because people accuse me of reaching for the sake of ship wars. If your favorite ship was built on fridging a woman, I think the world is a better place without it.

I’m being so serious, but some of y’all just need to admit that you prefer male characters simply because they’re male. This “there are no/a lot of well written women characters” hasn’t been true in decades. You’d have to watch zero women centric media, or only focus on the men.
