@HolyKnightLiz Yeah, and many are complaining about her design and they said they have sexualized her, maybe a bit but if they observe carefully she's the same as the other Fontain's character..

Honestly really disappointed with Sandrone’s drip marketing. Her long dress was such a huge part of her appeal: elegant, reserved, mysterious. Cutting it short just feels like obvious fan service. Constantly showing more skin stops being attractive and just becomes tiring.

@MdHasibul88824 If we look at Skirk too, her first appearance and final design still keep the same vibe and support her personality, so it doesn’t feel like a big shift. Sandrone’s drip just gives a slightly different impression

@MdHasibul88824 Yeah I get that. It’s not like the design is wildly different from Fontaine’s usual style, I just think her earlier concept had a more unique, reserved identity that fit her vibe better personally

@nolongcrhvman It’s a fictional character design discussion 😭 I’m not talking about real women at all. I even like designs like Skirk’s. I just preferred Sandrone’s older, more reserved style because it matched her lore and vibe way better for me

@Savoz Can’t even argue with that 😭 I’m questioning myself too because the Pulonia combo was my favorite part as well, gave me big Svarog & Clara vibes. Still miss the long dress though

@milkycake7x Yeah, I saw the same on my stream too, people were really hyped for her and then kinda disappointed by the drip. Still, at least she finally got released

@MdHasibul88824 Been playing since 2020 pretty much daily, I know her lore. I’m not criticizing the character ( I like her ), just saying I preferred her original design more than the drip marketing version

@HolyKnightLiz Don't know for how long you have been playing Genshin, but you should check Fontain's female drips.. or maybe you don't even know that her lore is from fontain...

@milkycake7x Yeah, popularity definitely influences direction, but that doesn’t really stop people from preferring older designs or different approaches

@stardustssinner I get what you mean. Taken alone it’s not bad, but compared to her earlier design and mihoyo's usual style it feels like a downgrade in character identity.

@F2PDelivererFTW Not really seething, just sharing an opinion on the design. Liking the character and criticizing a design choice aren’t mutually exclusive. You can like the character and still discuss design choices. Different opinions aren’t the same as being upset.

@dangoyunyu Yeah that’s actually one of the biggest downgrades for me too. The older silhouette had way more presence and uniqueness, now it feels way more generic

@HolyKnightLiz they didnt even keep the skirt’s poofiness, the silhouette is so small and boring compared to her older outfits

@GaskTheTask Don’t worry, tomorrow I probably won’t even care about the drip anymore, but I’m still allowed to share my opinion on my own feed. I never even planned to pull her, I just liked that she felt different from most female characters before

@siselp_ Yeah that’s kinda the problem 😭 the community usually does that on its own, but here it feels like the design itself already pushes hard into that direction

@HolyKnightLiz Usually fans tend to sexualize the character, but the developers decided to get ahead of them I recently, out of boredom, decided to further exaggerate her resemblance to a sexualized maid. although this is more like my first impression of the new sandrone

@beidousalcor Exactly 😭 not every female design needs to show so much skin. A proper long skirt or dress would’ve made her stand out way more

@80espiay Yeah but even then you can clearly tell they shortened it a lot compared to the original design. The elegant, mysterious vibe got toned down hard.

@kakagy12 ikr? T_T same here. I was hyped for her original vibe more than anything. Still glad she’s playable, but the redesign definitely lost some of that mysterious charm for me. I just think her original design had way more personality and elegance before they leaned into fan service.
