Year 3 have enjoyed a wonderful day on their pilgrimage to Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Hednesford. It is an extremely special place. We came back feeling very prayerful.

It is with great sadness to announce the death of Deacon Pat Flanagan who passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening surrounded by his wife Kathleen and family. We remember Pat for his 25 years of dedicated service to Christ the King and the wider Deanery. May he rest in peace.

I am delighted King Charles and Queen Camilla will visit the Holy See and meet Pope Francis during this Jubilee Year when so many will gather in Rome as pilgrims of hope. It presents a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the close relationship between the UK and the Holy See.

The Jubilee Icon has arrived at the cathedral. It will visit every diocese in England and Wales.
