Kids are back to school this week and before we know it it's time to plan for the holidays... If your office or organization is interested in feeding the homeless during this season, now is a good time to register for a permit.  Contact feeding@miamigov.com or call 305-960-4980.

It feels like yesterday but it was 2018 when @POTUS HUD Secretary, Dr. Ben Carson, joined us to announce: the functional end of veteran homelessness in our community. That means when a veteran is ready for services & housing, our Continuum has a system in place to get them housed

Sometimes our job is to listen. It builds relationships. It builds trust. Over time, it can lead to something life-changing, like a ride to a shelter & a path toward stability...

Violence is an everyday reality for our unsheltered homeless - the streets are “terrifying."  Take it from someone who was there & is now housed at Mia Casa, the nation's 1st senior citizen’s bridge housing.  A bed isn’t just comfort—it’s security, dignity, & stability.

@elonmusk Miami-Dade County - 90% decrease in unhoused homelessness over three decades including during the great economic downturn of 2007-13. The #305 declared a National Best practice model six times including by HUD Secretary, Dr. Ben Carson. Come see our continuum of care.
