So what can we do now? Well firstly education is key. As an adult these are some essential texts that are worth reading from @akalamusic @afuahirsch @renireni @AdamRutherford We are purposefully not taught about this history to maintain the current order. 4/?

There are many excellent resources circulating from people on the forefront of fighting this and I can't add much to those but to ask that we sign petitions, donate if we can, have difficult conversations, educate ourselves.

BLACK LIVES MATTER. The systemic racism that we have woven into our societal systems - not just in the US but around the world - needs to be dismantled. Violence against black members of our societies needs to stop.
