'Pistol Pete' Maravich sharing his testimony of faith in Jesus Christ in 1987 less than one year before his death at the age of 40: "I want all of you to know this tonight about Peter Maravich. You may never have heard of me. It makes no difference. I'm just one person on this earth saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. I want you to know this, that the change that came into my life was Jesus Christ. It was not winning. I won all my life. I won every trophy, award, everything you can think of, but every time I won something, I wanted something more. I had to win again. It wasn't money, because money'll buy you everything but happiness. It'll pay your fare at every place but Heaven. Material things—I've driven everything some of you strive for from Rolls Royces to BMWs to Mercedes to Porsches. It wasn't religion because in the name of religion, Jesus Christ was placed upon that cross. And the purest thing about Christianity is the fact that it's your choice. You can't work. You can't earn. I knew that, and I understood it now. I want you to know this. The last thing I'd like to say is this, next week I'll be inducted into the Hall of Fame. I'll get that big ring. In fact, it's a bigger ring than I would have got for the championship, but I'll tell you something about all the awards. They all pale to the glory of Christ and what He's done in my life. It's amazing what He has done in my life. I wouldn't trade my position in Christ for a thousand NBA championships or a thousand Hall of Fame rings or for a hundred billion dollars. There's nothing like the joy of Jesus Christ in your life."

This is the NBA's biggest problem, far bigger than tanking. Nobody wants to watch guys try to trick the refs and shoot free throws for 48 minutes. I'm not sure how the league can fix it. At some point the players just need to have some damn shame and play ball.

This is what people mean when say “unethical” hoops. This is simply not Basketball. Try to stick your arm underneath someone else’s to make it look like you got hooked. No real effort to try and get by them. Call it crafty if you want, I say it’s lazy.

Man, tough way to lose but great run by Sean Miller, his staff and the team. Bright future in ATX with a strong incoming freshman class & momentum heading into the offseason 🤘

Built another way to view the Draft Board within the site. Calling it Freeform as it allows to see positional scarcity within Tiers. See below 👇 #view=freeform" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">hoopswill.github.io/hoopswill-draf…

@bballstrategy Makes sense. One thing I’d like to work into the model is some sort of weight for strength of schedule. At times smaller school guys benefit from weaker opponents during conference play. That and defensive value are on my mind still for next update to the metric.

@HoopsWill My comment was based on the February tweet. I didn't go to the site for that. "Should have" but didn't think to, not seeing any newer tweet. But I'll go the site to refresh my awareness.

@bballstrategy Interesting you’re still seeing that ranking for them. Have uploaded an updated file to the site where Morez is 21 and Zuby is around 30. Still may be lower than your rankings but can you verify it’s still showing those old rankings for you?

@HoopsWill It would be a bonus if "past boards" page columns were sortable. Metric or all of them.
