UVA coach Chris Pollard was just thrown out after the umpire overturned an infield fly call. Pollard was heated.

@emc7x @PrestonWillett I was under the impression it was ruled a fair ball on the field then overturned to an infield fly based off pollard and the base runners reactions. Also in order to advance on an error don’t you have to essentially “tag up” after an error is committed?

@PrestonWillett @HoosHype_ This might have already been cleared up, but runners can advance on an infield fly rule if there’s an error (just don’t see it very often). Bigger question is why the ump felt the need to walk to the UVA dugout to make a simple call. Just call it and get back behind the plate.
