@SeizeTheNae His "comedy" is a 1. "Why am I not funny?" His show had some funny moments, but he was the straight man, almost never funny. All the other characters were funnier with the exception of Jerry's mother.

@gotrice2024 Picky eaters should buy their own ingredients and learn to cook instead of trying to force restaurants to make big changes. Margins for most restaurants are already really slim. Couldn't afford to even if they wanted.

This woman is trying to order Chinese food from her local restaurant. She claims she has celiac disease and insists on gluten free items only. She even requests that the food be prepared separately from where the normal food is prepared, and that all surfaces including the woks be scrubbed with soap and water before they cook her food separately. The restaurant replies that they can make her a gluten free meal but they don’t have the time to thoroughly scrub down everything just to make one meal. You can tell she’s irritated they said no, but is her expectations to accommodate her condition realistic?

@thedimitri Panhandlers want $ to spend on alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs. Call their bluff by offering them food and they'll curse you out. Was having Red Burrito when a bum told me he hasn't eaten. When I offered him a burrito, he said "Dat not good enuff, gimme money".

The first time I visited San Francisco, I was eating a burger on the patio of some fast casual spot when a homeless guy came up and asked me to buy him a burger and fries. Normally I ignore it, but I was feeling generous. I went inside, ordered it, came back out, and handed it to him. He opens the burger, sees onions, immediately starts yelling at me, and then throws the whole thing on the ground. While he’s screaming about the onions, the owner comes out with a broom and chases him off. That was the last time I ever went out of my way to buy a homeless person food.

@hanaamurakami Yes. I behave, and would probably make a good impression with her honorable parents. Japanese people seem to work long careers, so my retiring early might be an issue. If she and her parents are okay with that issue, they would probably be okay with us.
