When Mitch Daniels was governor of Indiana, his most visionary idea was a new outerbelt for Indianapolis. INDOT actually studied the idea. It was too early to build such a thing, but without planning and ROW protection, it's can't be built when it is needed.

90 miles of paved roads is nice… but what they don’t tell you is they’re removing as much as 40% of available lanes on Washington St. to accommodate their ridiculous dedicated lanes, and they’re putting bus stops in the middle of the road which will put more pedestrians in danger, cause more traffic congestion, and also they’re removing left-hand turns which will negatively impact business traffic and create added unnecessary headaches while driving. The Blue Line is *awful*, and all just for a measly 2% of the city that even bothers to use it. Millions of dollars thrown in the trash to sustain this nonsense.

This is what’s being sent home with 8-year-olds from LaPorte public elementary school libraries! Let that sink in. While God has been pushed out of our classrooms… prayer removed, biblical truth silenced… we’ve replaced it with darkness, fear, and confusion. Books glorifying the occult, demons, and out-of-body experiences are now considered “acceptable” for young children. And then we act surprised… Why are kids struggling with anxiety? Why are depression and fear at all-time highs? Why are we seeing rising rates of self-harm and suicide among our youth? Because we’ve ripped out Truth and replaced it with chaos. We are feeding children poison, and then wondering why they’re sick. There is a spiritual vacuum in our schools, and something will always fill that vacuum. If it’s not truth, it will be lies. If it’s not light, it will be darkness. It’s time to stop pretending this is neutral. It’s not. Put God back in our schools… and watch what happens. Watch HOPE return. Watch IDENTIFY be restored. Watch HEALING begin. But if we continue down this path, removing Truth and replacing it with fear, then we shouldn’t be surprised by the fruit it produces. Indiana families deserve better. Our kids deserve better.
