@IntroSpecktive Legit yeah It especially feels dumb when the mooks are slaughtered without a second thought This trope works when the heroes are specifically doing something where there morals are actively not letting them kill people or it would be bad to kill them (like they’d martyr them)

The only time this trope ever worked for me was in Avatar because Aang was genuinely a pacifist and he found a way to stop the Fire Lord without killing him Other than that this trope always annoys me, some mfers just absolutely need to die
