Fieldwork Brewing is opening a beer garden across from Oracle Park in the mission rock development. Waterfront views, by the park, Caltrain friendly, sounds like the podcast will have to do something there pronto.

The Mudcats helped to usher in a new era of minor league baseball team identity and was a merchandise cash cow, but landed before the new era of downtown ballparks. Always a shame to see a community life their team.

The Fort Wayne Wizards played at Memorial Stadium, which was located in what is now the parking lot for Memorial Coliseum. 🧙♂️ Found Johnny Appleseed’s gravesite AND the marker for the first ever pro baseball game, played in Fort Wayne in 1871! #AllTheBallparks #ErikLikesBaseball
