Exactly. People hear this type of logic and expect "good" things to happen to them because they themselves have decided that they are "good" people. Then they feel unworthy when those "good" things they expect don't end up happening. If life is hard and you feel like you can't catch a break, you are still worthy of God's grace. If life is easy and you get the things you want, that doesn't necessarily mean you're living the life that God has planned for you.

God is great, karma is real, and if you put good into the world, good will come back to you, I promise. Last night took my family to dinner at a Japanese shabu-shabu restaurant with only bar seating. As we’re eating, I looked up across the bar and saw a man eating all alone sitting in-between two happy families. Now, I eat alone all the time, and enjoy my alone time as we all do, but I could just tell and feel that something was wrong and he was hurting. I couldn’t stop looking over at him with a voice and God in my head asking me to do something kind for this man. I didn’t want to do anything to embarrass the man, so I discreetly asked the waiter to please let me pick up his check, and just tell him it’s on the house, but instead he told the man I paid for his meal. The man immediately got up and walked over to me with the biggest smile on his face to say thank you. His name was Michael and I could see in his face with his eyes watering how much it meant to him, that he had been struggling and he needed an act of kindness from someone. I told him it was my absolute pleasure to just please pay it forward in someway for someone else. What happened next was unbelievable and I believe truly, karma. I checked my phone quickly and went back to my dinner. Not two minutes later my Apple Watch started going crazy so I looked at my phone and in a matter of 1-2 seconds, not 1-2 minutes, 1-2 SECONDS, 17 new orders came in for my company @Taste_FlavorCo. Then it was 21, 25, and so on. Now I’m not trying to show off or be arrogant, but this had NEVER happened before and it didn’t stop. We went on to have one of our best sales days ever AND immediately after dinner we received news that one of the biggest retail stores in the world loved us and wanted us in all stores by Fall! I was blown away and just so very grateful, and the whole time thinking about Michael. I didn’t buy that man’s meal in hopes of this happening or really expecting anything in return but, as a man with very strong love for and faith in God, I truly believe he was telling me in that moment to help that man. Karma is real and what goes around, comes around. And it’s not always going to be things like this or anything physical at all, but I can guarantee you that 100% of the times you do kind things for others, you will feel SO GOOD knowing you helped someone, and that feeling is the best reward.

Growing my hair into a luxurious blond mane. Unlike a lot of other female detransitioners, I will never go femme because that’s not me. I keep getting into the weeds with both the trans and detrans communities about my masculinity. I keep hearing “when will you ACTUALLY detransition?” This is it, folks. This is me. It always has been. It always will be. Being a woman does not equal being a Barbie doll. Normalize gender nonconformity & we will see a lot less trans in the future.
