🚨 WOW. Utah Republican Sen. John Curtis is being EVISCERATED nationwide for seemingly defending AMNESTY on national television Even CNBC was shocked: "I thought I'd be arguing with YOU [Sen. Adam Schiff], not Sen. Curtis!" NO AMNESTY, CURTIS.

.@POTUS: If our Republican majorities stand up for our priorities, the American people will stand with us. We have to be STRONG. We can't let these THUGS on the other side of the aisle push us around — because what they're doing right now is WRONG.

Nah I lied, I'm doing one more post. My last tour in Afghanistan was in 2012, COP Connolly, Nangarhar. Doing some lame advisory mission to an Afghan battalion that couldn't fight itself out of a wet paper bag. Anyway, it's here I met LTG Dan Bolger. I've never seen a general like him before or since. What do I mean by that? When he visited my team, he wasn't on some feel good tour. He was on a quest for absolution. I'll be honest, as a young captain it completely shocked me. He wanted to talk about why we were losing. And he was really REALLY reflective about it. I remember asking him "Well why do you think we aren't winning sir?" I'll never forget the way his face changed into some thousand yard stare. He says in the most blunt and forceful way possible without skipping a beat "Because we refuse to kill enough, and we've stayed too long." That shocked me. Because that's the sh*t I've been saying forever along with others. But then I realized he was just like us. Very little difference. He wasn't in charge of the war. He was largely an observer too. Helpless to do anything about it but reflect on why it was going so poorly. He was genuine. He was REAL. I did not detect a single subversive vibe from him at all. He was morally injured just like the rest of us. And he carried it with him the same way. You can't fake that sh*t. So wherever you are General, thanks for being a real one. You are the rarest of exceptions to your peers.

Blessed be the GWOT era general who admits his faults openly. Humble. Willing to let the country learn from what he failed at. Blessed be that general. Find him for me, so that I may honor his rarity properly. For all the world to see.

VICTORY! The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 that the Department of Homeland Security CAN detain — without possibility of bond — illegal aliens waiting to be deported. This is a huge, massive win for President Trump & the American people.

The Senate filibuster—that infamous tool for delaying or killing bills with endless debate—is not in the Constitution. Not a single word. It started by accident in 1806. Vice President Aaron Burr, while presiding over the Senate, suggested cleaning up the rulebook by dropping the “previous question” motion (a simple-majority tool to end debate that both chambers had used). The Senate agreed, thinking it was redundant. No one realized at the time that this would create unlimited debate with no easy way to stop it. Prolonged talking marathons emerged in the 1830s–1840s as senators exploited the change to block legislation. Cloture (to end debate) wasn’t added until 1917. What began as a minor housekeeping tweak became a powerful minority veto that the Founders never designed or mentioned. The Constitution gives each chamber the power to set its own rules—but this one wasn’t part of the original plan. Thoughts on whether it still serves the Senate well today?

About to speak on the Senate floor It’s yet again time to refute a whole bunch of lies about the SAVE AMERICA Act This should be this hard, but it’s an honor and a privilege to clear up deliberate distortions of this bill, which Americans overwhelmingly support
