Yes, obviously. A single ‘lock’ - to real wage growth only - would lessen the ever-ratcheting fiscal burden, give retirees a direct interest in continuing productivity growth, and incentivise the grey vote to favour inflation-reducing supply-side reforms.
Good Morning Britain@GMB

More than 12 million pensioners will see their state pension rise 4.8% today under the triple lock. But the government has been accused of doing too little for working-age households so is it time to scrap the triple lock?

It’s interesting that when I question how Jews end up occupying such a disproportionate amount of wealth and power the response of Jews and their defenders is to point to their IQ scores. They literally resort to a Jewish supremacist argument to justify their right to rule goys.

@cfdownes_ Identifying symptoms is easy. Diagnosing the problem is harder. Clearly socialism is a collection of piss poor mitigations. On the other hand Uniparty neo-liberalism has failed. These aren't the only two choices. Restore would do well not become Tory 3.0 on economics.

The British people don’t care about “left vs. right”. To most people, it’s completely meaningless, and for those in power, it is a tool of division. The Greens are extremely effective at speaking to the problems Britain is facing. They say that the cost of living is intolerable, wealth inequality is unacceptable, housing is unaffordable, and the healthcare service is itself on life support. This tracks with the lived reality of most people in this country. For that reason, they are cutting through. For many people, this ability to accurately identify some of the problems we face is enough to win their support. At least the Greens are listening, as against the LibLabRefCon establishment blob. It’s completely understandable. That said, it is essential that the people who are considering voting for the Greens understand what the party’s programme would do to this country. Further liberalisation of legal and illegal immigration, arbitrary wealth taxes, and a disturbing alliance with sectarian Muslims would do absolutely nothing to halt - much less reverse - the decline of Britain. On the contrary, they will radically accelerate it. Though they quite convincingly wear the costume of radicalism, what the Greens actually represent is the status quo dialled up to 11. More immigration, more tax, more crime, more chaos, more decline. What the country needs is a political force that is able to accurately recognise the problems our nation has and offer sensible solutions. So far, the Greens only offer the former - but they have been the only ones doing so. Until now. With Restore Britain, the people of this country have a party that will speak frankly about the condition of Britain and what is necessary to fix it. Not yet more immigration, but mass deportations of burdensome foreigners who shouldn’t have been here in the first place. Alleviate the massive pressure on the housing market, public services, and wages. Not wealth taxes, but a radical reorientation of the priorities of the state. Support for those who need it, targeted relief for young families, and an end to the frivolous bullshit our leaders spend our money on, from DEI to foreign aid. Not sectarianism, but a reassertion of the sovereignty of the British people and their culture in Britain. Those who don’t like it will have to leave. We’re not offering people a utopia. What we offer is the truth. What is necessary will be painful and difficult, but on the other side of it we might just be alright. The Greens, on the other hand, will bring complete collapse. I know which one I prefer.

@AaronBastani I can’t quite explain it but as a small business owner I’m torn between Restore and Greens. I like Restores tax and economic policy but like Greens foreign policy and hope vibe. Help me!

Architects and urban designers routinely cite development outside Cambridge as exemplary. A perfect example of the “design disconnect” whereby elite opinion is almost perfectly misaligned with public taste. With a couple of modest exceptions,, it’s pretty grim stuff.
Sam Bowman@s8mb

The new build estates on the outskirts of Cambridge are truly shocking. Is it any wonder that people there hate the thought of expanding the city when this is what they can expect will be built?

@boys_nicholas I’ve done over 100 consultations, some on projects that you’ve been on, and better aesthetics helping is a complete myth imo. The evidence you will cite is pointless as respondents always answer that they understand the need for housing but conveniently oppose any near them.

At the SDP, we understand that some cultures are compatible and some are not. Immigration should only occur when it benefits Britain, being controlled, integrated and essential, not en masse. 🇬🇧
