Thing to remember in all of this. We’re brief visitors to our [disadvantaged] pupils lives. But we make a huge difference through great teaching & learning, high expectations, belief in their potential, social inclusion, respect, opportunity & kindness (inc difficult messages!)

It’s worth remembering you can claim tax relief on your union subs. However don’t forget to update this information when subs increase. I hadn’t updated mine since I was a class teacher (£130pa) and now as eHT (£512pa) my subs are more. I’ve just had £500 tax rebate. Cont…
