Oh the Penguins fan boys are so offended I called Malkin for exactly what he is. He is going to the hall of fame but he is one of the if not the dirtiest player of this century. His stick work as a weapon is shameful.

Pittsburgh is a medium/small sports market. The Penguins winning a bunch of Stanley Cups is like the Sacramento Kings winning some titles. Nice story, but nobody really cares.
And don't even get me started on the Pitt Panthers.

Well, a-lot of these outrageous calls and non-calls benefit the Isles who are the only major media market team from NY who is in a position to make the playoffs. There is an easy case to be made that the NHL is on its way to NBA-land which is more like pro-wrestling than an actual sport.

No, I don’t think there is an NHL conspiracy against the Penguins.
However, so many blatant, botched calls have gone against them recently that it’s legitimately become a story. Couple it with 13 of 14 goalie interference challenges going against them. Organization is furious.

Zegras has been back at center full time for 10 games. Flyers are 7-2-1 in those 10. He has 7 points in those 10 games. It's too bad he wasn't playing center all season to get more comfortable in the position. Let's hope he keeps improving at C. 7-1 at the dot last night.

This is the wrong call! It denied the #Penguins of a goal AND a power play as Colorado would have lost challenge.

Not really borne out by goals against. Unsurprisingly, TB and NY are best in goals against. After that, we are in the same relative position as the group of current playoff teams. We are 4/8 in differential. Would like to be better. Not sure I agree it is a weakness over the season.
