@Hopper1605 @Luntinho @henrywinter No, they’ve all played plenty. It’s not the early 80s, clubs need big squads now. All those 8 have started or been on bench when fit all season. Rigg has been great the last 3 games and is only 18. And O’Nien has played in 3 of the last 4 matches and we’ve won them all.

Leeds United 15th rising away from the danger zone. Sunderland 10th, outstanding. Burnley look doomed. But important for EFL that promoted clubs don’t all tumble back down. Also important reminder to the PL of the quality in the pyramid - and why they need to work closer together

@Marcus442361611 @Luntinho @henrywinter Lets be real, Cirkin, Mundle, Isidor arent first team anymore.. Rigg and O'Nein only have their place because of injuries.. Ballard, Le Fee with Hume is the right answer

Luke O'Nien is a mentality monster and it's actually insane how much he just steps up to every single level he's ever been in. We signed him as an attacking midfielder in League 1 and is starting at centre back in the Premier League and doesn't look out of place. Legend. #SAFC

Just ridiculous really. Leeds fans tell me we are an ambitious club and the 49ers work in silence but I'm seeing Sunderland sign Xhaka in their first transfer window then Ronaldinho the next. Just a proper club, we'll never be on their level, sick to death with Leeds united #LUFC

🇧🇷 Ronaldinho is coming to the Stadium of Light. The Brazilian icon will be on Wearside on Monday 25 May, leading his Ronaldinho & Friends side against Jermain Defoe’s UK Icons team. Secure your tickets below 👇

Remember when we lost to Peterborough 3-0 in League One, remember when Darren Bent relegated us to the third tier, remember when we had to sit and endure eight years of comments from Newcastle fans about our league status. That one was for every Sunderland fan who’s been through absolute hell and back. Sunderland AFC are back, no matter what happens going forward, we’re here to compete, and beat, clubs with far more resources than we’ll ever have. Sunderland AFC, Pride of the North East #SAFC

@EthanFromOnline Fully agree with this. We needed to go for it against Sunderland. Honestly I’m a little worried for us. West Ham are one of the form sides in the league now, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them pick up points in most of their games from here.

I promise this isn't a panic station tweet about Leeds. But. Our record of few losses over the last few months loses a lot of its lustre when you realise its still only 2 wins in 13. Draws are the silent killer. #LUFC

🚨 🎯 Sunderland reach their season target of 40 points — on March 3rd. ❌ No Roefs, no Mukiele and no Brobbey — but no problem for #SAFC, with young debutant Melker Ellborg keeping a clean sheet on his Premier League debut. 🆙 That’s the Wearside club safe for the season, with 9 games to spare. 👏🏼 Some effort from all involved…

@JamesCopley_ No recruitment to build on the issues during the window, now paying the price of that.. Club were aware of the injuries to Xhaka, and signed an injured Ta Bi.. got rid of Adingra and kept Mundle... felt very sideways.. needed to build in that window..

You have to take your chances at this level. Misses from Mundle and Angulo proved costly, and Sunderland have slipped into bad habits from set-pieces. Three league defeats in a row – toughest spell of the season in what has otherwise been an excellent campaign. Thoughts? #SAFC
