Eagerly anticipating tomorrow. I haven’t been this excited/nervous about a potential GTA 6 news date in a long, long time. I’m personally extremely confident but of course you never know with Rockstar.

I’ve got to address this. A ton of people are contacting Best Buy’s customer support about GTA 6, and it’s silly. Customer support knows nothing that we don’t. They’re typically just outsourced employees working out of countries like India (so these big companies can pay them less) whose job is to look up problems and be friendly to customers. They are not told anything in advance and possess zero knowledge about GTA 6 pre-orders. It’s also worth mentioning that a lot of the time it’s just an AI bot, but occasionally a real human does connect and might say something that can be interpreted as potentially significant. It never is. It’s meaningless speculation.

Tomorrow might finally be the day for a new GTA 6 announcement: - It’s a Monday - GTAV pre-orders started on a Monday (November 5th 2012) - RDR2 pre-order details were revealed with the final cover art on a Monday too (June 4th 2018) - An official email sent by Best Buy to affiliates indicates that pre-orders begin on May 18. - Best Buy hasn’t made a statement denying it or saying it was a mistake, which gives it more credibility - Take-Two’s earnings call takes place this week on Thursday, May 21

Many are taking Tom Henderson’s personal prediction about the GTA 6 marketing as a fact. He believes Take-Two will only reaffirm the November 19th release date in Thursday’s earnings call, with no Trailer 3 or pre-orders until late summer (July/August). However, this is not based on insider information and he has got multiple predictions wrong in the past.

What if the pre-orders email from Best Buy was a marketing ploy after they saw the reach GameInformer generated from people thinking they’re gonna show GTA 6 We have to wait till Monday to find out, but hopefully they get sued for market manipulation if they were actually lying.
