The Unite the Kingdom march organisers are spreading hatred and division. They do not reflect the Britain I’m proud of. Peaceful protest is a fundamental right and one I will always protect. But if protest turns violent, we will act swiftly, with extra court capacity in place.

@jgoldiek What is partially true ? I said the US imports some crude oil from the gulf not loads. Also fun fact - the US still imports enriched uranium from Russia for its power stations (it must be desperate). Not as self sufficient as the legacy media makes you think.

@Hot_lips88 Only partially true. In the last 10 years we now export a lot of lighter crude oil that we produce but we import the heavier crude oil for our refineries mostly from Canada, Mexico and Brazil. We have cut down greatly in the very little we get from the gulf.

@DustinWalper You’re probably right, but the Aerospace and defence industry learns an awful lot (and borrows a lot of skills) from the tech industry. People in those industries have also learned from working in tech - alongside H1B visa holders.
