I’m a very big trans ally and this is the only reasonable take from anyone. While there’s no legal obligation to disclose it, there is a moral obligation in a sense that if hinges on respect. Expecting people to respect status as a trans people comes with respecting preferences.

hey so straight white man here. maybe dont do this. mostly for your own safety. a lot of men have unchecked anger issues and they will lash out even at the idea of them being physically attracted to a trans person, let alone doing the extra effort to go on a date with them and spend time and money on them. you're quite literally putting yourself in danger because you want to be ambiguous about it. its important to be honest with someone especially about that.

He was armed with a gun while he was in the commission of a felony, and resisting arrest. Don’t do that, you’ll get shot, and nobody is going to jail for murder. Don’t do it if you want to live to see another day. Just don’t. Teach your children not to do that. Advise your loved ones not to do that. If you’re getting arrested if and you have a gun in you, put your hands up where the police can see them, and surrender. Tell them you are armed and don’t resist. You can work it out in court.

The movie is a well shot film and it’s just diet Saw. There’s no scenes in the film that show any kind of cctv footage or anything of this nature.
