@ReissOmari The current one is better than the 70’s subways, but by modern standards it’s grim…about 6 homeless shooting up at 7am yesterday, great show for our visitors to the city.

Imagine the tunnel under Bullring between New Street and Moor Street Stations if it looked like this!? Would need to be a bit wider of course, however, H******** can’t even get the Media Eyes working so these lights would probably be on for about a month and never seen again 😂

@gamesyouloved Cycling I do a ton of cycling…mtb, road and gravel!

@CB_cycles The first 30 miles I was all good, would say 5 of them on the road, the last 10 it was climb after climb after climb and oddly no drops, but was great fun, will do another this year I’ve got 2 in mind, will see what days off work I can get.

@Hotwheels_mtb I did a cyclocross sportive years ago on a Willier Montegrappa and it was the toughest thing I've ever done. It was November and the trails were just sloop. I wrecked a good pair of shoes that day as the mud never came out, there was as much inside my shoes as out 🤣🤣

First gravel event done, things I’ve learnt… Tyre choice is king, my front spot on rear hmm not so much. Trek checkpoints are everywhere 1 in 5 bikes at least. 50cc is also accepted gravel width. I quite enjoyed it…sorry Oh it was as tougher than ridelondon

Feel a bit underbiked…wow so many great looking gravel bikes, everyone seems to be riding fat mtb tyres as well…I’m on relatively skinny 45cc

@Hotwheels_mtb @jollyboya I wrecked my last bike running tyres too wide for the frame, even though they were within the recommended limit. Ok when it’s dry but in the wet, which it always seems to be, wore grooves in the frame.

@NetflixUK padding out @wwe smack down is ruining the flow of the programme making it unwatchable…

@jollyboya @PeaTee456C It’s too tight, there’s no clearance for the forks. There’s a Facebook page and someone did it first ride out ruined the carbon fork, road riding it’s fine, trails loose mud/stones not good.

@Hotwheels_mtb @PeaTee456C You’ll probably be able to fit 700c x 50 on the front. If you want wider try 650b wheels and tyres.

@PeaTee456C After seeing all the checkpoints out there today I’m tempted to get one later on the year it was already in the tredz basket, my diverge won’t take anything bigger than I’ve got. Yep feeling it now as super tired.

@Hotwheels_mtb I’m running 50 front, 45 rear. Seems a decent compromise. I’ve done a few gravel events now and you’re right, they are much tougher than long road sportives.

@farrellray Unfortunately frame wise I’m restricted to 47cc max and most tyres are now 45cc or 50cc, new bike time 🤣🤣

@Hotwheels_mtb I went 50 mm on mine and don’t regret it. Goes everywhere and much faster than the mtb.

@jollyboya Was pretty good, some slop at the beginning and the one photo opportunity where they had a camera man there was the biggest puddle seen all day, I bet he was soaked by the time we all went through 🤣

@Hotwheels_mtb Looks like you had great conditions for it. 🌞 The last organised gravel event I did was just a mudfest and really hard going.

@bouncerbeater Other half telling me off already this morning, had a bad head day yesterday. Still an everything is a bit fuzzy today but I won’t let this stop me doing the fun stuff and it’s Cannock I know it well so can bail out if when I need to.

Been at the hospital 4 Hours now. Been in my own little prison cell with my new clobba on for 3 hours. Just managed to nab a cup of water. Having such an amazing Friday 🤐

@JUSTIN_AVFC_ Too soon and could have waited till after end of month payday, Everytime they do this. Prices we knew start of the season, but seeing as it’s Bologna who we have seen at Villa park a few times now could have been a bit cheaper.

Genuine question, ticket prices for 1/4 final. 1, too expensive 2, expected it 3, I’m ok with it 4, I don’t like it but i understand the financial aspect. I understand this is always an emotive issue, so I’m not looking for abuse to anyone in the comments if they have a different perspective. I want a reel feel for this? And also will you still be going? I’ll share some opinions on the pod

@VillaVoyager82 Just got home, 2 hrs to travel 8 miles. Missed the 10:25 train. Missed the 10:57 train, 11:25 cancelled and i thought wait for the 4 that never turned up, so got the last train 11:37, madness.
