@klara_sjo The customization is some of the best stuff I seen in years. It has heaps of quests that I wouldn't say are boring, they are diverse and there is a lot of mechanics to explore, you can investigate, interrogate, capture and jail fools to get quest stuff. Bosses aren't that easy.

This will be used to drive money to games no one wants and no one wants to support. Just enough games will be offered to keep the money rolling in while horrible games full of DEI and ESG scores are rewarded for merely existing. These are indie games. People can buy them and ACTUALLY support the indie devs that deserve it. I'll pass.

Too convoluted and unnecessary. Steam already has their discovery section and if you wanted you could have the free to play or demo section.

I don’t love the idea of more subscription-based gaming, and I especially hate it when it comes to Indie games. This is going the wrong direction. Stop corporatizing gaming. We’ve seen this story play out a million times before. New service comes in, it’s super awesome and affordable. Then it goes public/gets bought out, and enshittification begins. Nah. I’m good. I’ll stick with owning my games thx

It’s a very similar phenomenon as the father characters in sitcoms over the last couple decades. 20-ish years ago they were often the strong, caring and hero’s that saved the main character in his time of need. Like Phil in Fresh Prince. But when you look at the fathers in most shows now, they are goofy, incompetent, and useless without their strong, independent wife to do everything for them. They’re only there to go to work, make money, then be the comedic relief.

I'm not even white, but the way white males are emasculated and portrayed in liberal media is crazy. What you see as cringy, they see as cool asf.
