@SteinMakesGames How much of your twitter follower account do you presume is bots?

Have been absolutely addicted to #UFO50 an absolute masterpiece of games. Really reminds me of rifling through random floppies when I got a hand me down Amiga 600 as a kid. Not seeing many people talk about Magic Garden which has been my fav so far

@DevteamL Fortnite has done way too much damage to young gamers it feels like.
Because they don't do "variety" gaming, they just do fortnite and it is kinda sad.

@rockpapershot Paradox literally rely on the concept of we'll do it later when you've bought a shit ton of dlc

Players are now less "accepting" that games will be fixed, say Paradox, after "underestimating" the reaction to Cities: Skyline 2's performance woes rockpapershotgun.com/players-are-no…

@SteinMakesGames Especially useful when testing resolutions I find

This #Godot tip may save you some time! Also applies to several other #gamedev tools other than #GodotEngine

@rockpapershot I'm glad people are starting to call out these morons instead of just letting them be.

The Silent Hill 2 Remake’s Wikipedia page briefly got transformed into a phantasmagorical reflection of the psyches of idiots unable to accept reality

@Bissash05 @bitbrain Why? If you refine or polish your template any more then the level won't receive those updates then. If there's stuff that may need changing then I consider that as something that shouldn't be in the template.

I always disliked scene inheritence in #Godot as it is difficult to track where some nodes are coming from, and it convolutes the scenes...
but oh boy, does Godot make everything easier if you follow through with it. 🤯🤯

Pretty happy with #GodotWildJam 73 results. Top 40 for a pretty bizzare mix of genres. I was rather concerned more people just wouldn't get it at all.

@VVaelino @DeadSceneMedia @owensjaxon @SandWitchDev The game has made $375k in ten days... Wtf are you talking about
English

@Brisskitty I also think it's somewhat an age and demographic thing. Action games get a younger audience who are also more vocal online in my experience. Pokémon, Civilization, XCom, Final Fantasy are all huge series that have pretty much always been turn based
English

@Phantom_TheGame Collisions. I always have to redo them a million times... It should be obvious but I am dumb

@DominicTarason I really need to spend some time and get invested in it. It's definitely a game you need to do a bit of research for first

Whether you like big open-world, story-driven RPGs or mechanically crunchy roguelikes, get Caves of Qud. You can play it as either.
It is massive, the setting is cool, the vibes are exceptional and the mechanical curveballs in the late-game are too good and I don't want to spoil

The Caves of Qud team are making their final preparations for 1.0 launch later this year! ✏ Tutorial beta early next month 🔥 Feature Fridays pausing after this week (to focus fully on dev) ⏰Price is going up Oct 29th

Coming towards the last stretch for Godot Wild Jam 73. Just need to add more enemies and make some things a little clearer to the player.
