Interesting aside here…. 1/365th deducted for 1 day of strike action… evidence teachers are paid all year round rather than just the 195 days? If not wouldn’t it be 1/195th 🤔

Strike action in schools isn't going to have any real long-term impact on a child. But endless funding cuts, a retention crisis caused by pay & conditions, collapsing staff morale & the unnecessary pressures created by Ofsted & excessive accountability, yeah, I think that might.

Any Tory MP who says teachers going on strike is damaging to students. Let me tell you that 13 years of continually cutting school budgets is far far more damaging to students.
