This is an under discussed issue in modern dating.
I was Dave Ramsey-ed from a young age and never had credit card debt. I paid my student loans off steadily and (thanks to parental help) only had like $20k to begin with there.
While dating it was borderline impossible to find a man who was in a better financial position than me. And I lived in big cities with higher income earners.
Women aren’t good-digging most of the time, they just don’t want to put themselves in a worse financial position than they’d be in alone and that’s VALID.
