@masterofoneinc1 @KinoLorber It is ..the ending is more faithful to the novel...though ultimately I still like the original better. Like most of del Toro's stuff it's gorgeous but I actually don't like Cate Blanchett's performance (she's an actress I generally like)

@Dmanphotos Isaacman needs to have the program well established by January 2029. A new president will be in office (unless Trump refuses the leave). If the program is a mess with cost overruns and schedule delays, a new president might decide to go in a different direction.

I saw it recently for the first time. I found interminably boring and of absolutely no interest to me. And I love the Coen Brothers. The film defines the term "overrated."

The Big Lebowski (1998) is a movie where… literally nothing happens. No grand schemes, no shocking twists…just a laid-back guy, his quirky life, and a lot of bizarre situations. And somehow it’s endlessly funny, weird, and unforgettable.
