@HoyaWoh @River You pay tax at the FMV when you receive it and you would owe capital gains taxes on any appreciation afterward if you sell at a higher value.

Chase pays 0.01% interest. At @River you earn 3.3% on your cash in BTC and you can pay bills directly from your account. If you have a checking or savings account at Chase you're giving them free money.

Using @ether_fi regularly, the spending volume milestones all make sense because you only find more and more ways to use it. I just booked a hotel room for 45% off list price and 17% less than what I could find on hotels[dot]com plus I’m getting 4.5-5% cashback on the txn. All paid in USD borrowed against my self-custodied weETH collateral, earning about 3%. Note: I booked a hotel for well under $500 here so I am not out here booking the Ritz. I think there is an opportunity for a small loans app on Ronin. We have the users for this. Credit starts at $10 and increases up to $350 . As users repay their credit line increases. I take a small cashapp loan all the time. I started with $20 credit now I'm at $375. It's like a game haha.

ngl, DeFi borrowing is actually useful. Like, you can just borrow for every day needs, like that motorcycle, or the cruise with the mistress. You don’t have to borrow to farm. You can actually borrow to live. Wild.
