Hurdle Throws: This is one of my favorite ways to make changes. Set the environment up accordingly to yield the changes you want. Chase has a tendency to lunge forward and collapse the lead leg into ball release. By putting a hurdle just in front of where his foot lands, he automatically moves in a way that avoids hitting the hurdle. As a result he’s rotating into foot plant better and stops forward momentum with the lead leg, allowing the upper body to accelerate over the front side.
