I got in to a fight in the middle of the road with the guy across the street, he was drunk and blasting music at 4am on a week night. Asked him to turn it down and he got belligerent. Long story short, after knocking him out quite literally, he wouldn’t let it go and kept coming to my door. Had him at gun point (kids in the house) police showed up the next after noon. Never had any issues with him after he sobered up but HPD is absolutely useless.

This is absolutely insane - This American borrowed $96,000 in student loans for a bachelors degree - She’s already paid back $165,356 - She still owes $220,810.73 Again, she only borrowed $96,000 “I have paid almost double what I even borrowed in the first place, and I owe so much money. I am running backwards at this point” How is this legal? This is such a scam. This is why students can’t pay off their loans, the terms are beyond predatory

This woman was getting gas at the local gas station. She put her card in and pressed 87 for the $2.85 a gallon gas. After she pumped she noticed she only got 17 gallons and it charged her $78 instead of $48. She went in and said something to the attendant that it charged her too much, he claims that she must have pressed premium 93 by mistake and even printed out the receipt that showed she pumped 93. She’s convinced that she’s being scammed and the pump automatically switched to 93 because either by the attendant or a malfunction in the machine because she knows she pressed the button for 87. When they went out and he demoed it for her, it worked as it should have but he also handed her a $20. So did she really accidentally pressed 93 or did he give her the money because he knows he was caught?

This man was pumping gas at the gas station, as it approached 16 gallons of gas he knew he was going to reach what he wanted to pay. So when it went over 16 he was surprised and tried to stop the pump. He hit the release tab on the pump handle and it does nothing. It still pumps. It’s now approaching 24 gallons and he knows it’s going to flood and overflow his tank. Sure enough, as soon as he hit 24, gas spilled out onto the concrete. He panics and runs to hit the emergency shut off on the building. It cuts off power to the pumps and cuts out the lights. Did he wait way too long to shut it off or at least notify someone, what would you have done?

@spf_ripp @gotrice2024 The price comes directly from the point of sale, they can change the prices of the fuel from the computer inside but not mid transaction and not to charge something different than what’s displayed.

You’re claiming the wires can be soldered while not even knowing 1. How spell soldered correctly 2. No idea what this board looks like or how it functions (I do) 3. I don’t have to visualize because I literally worked on them for years and am telling you that you are wrong. There are other ways for gas stations to scam you, this isn’t one of them and you’re an absolute idiot that’s incapable of taking a step back and learning something.

@bigcricket88 @gotrice2024 So of all the years I pulled credit card skimmers out of pumps, slimmed key pads, diagnosed and maintained pumps all around Houston running literally THOUSANDS of service calls. I guess I must have missed the part where some twitter random out smarted all the scammers out there.
