Khakis were so popular the biggest debate turned into pleated vs plain front. Pleated was for losers. (There was also a brief corduroy fad in here too. I know because I folded and rolled all these pants at American Eagle and Abercrombie from 1995 to 2000).

This was the peak of the khaki pants era, when it seemed jeans were forever dead. From like 1992 to 2000, khakis dominated. I don’t think I even owned a pair of jeans then.

This was Dusty May's first Final Four in Indianapolis. He and three other Indiana student managers posted up in the lobby of the downtown Marriott to "hopefully bump into any coach" and "try to beg" for a spot on their staff.
