I still don’t understand why they haven’t extended him. He’s been open about wanting to stay. He’s turned his career around and there’s enough of a sample size now to say it works here. Finding good pitching is hard, and I don’t think there’s going to be an offer that would justify trading him

Ravens Camp - Practice 5 Notebook
- First day of pads brought a little extra juice
- Offensive line found some rhythm today, expected when the physicality returns
- WR vs. DB one-on-ones were fun. Highlighted by Elijah Surratt who was really strong there
- Busy day for tight ends, especially in redzone work. Some nice grabs by Mark Andrews and Matthew Hibner
- Offense tried the deep shot a few times but rarely connected, secondary was solid

Guess I'll have to pretend to be unhappy about this in public. Biggest haul of the deadline for someone who wouldn't sign here anyway. Prospects are only prospects but this is a lot better than letting him walk.

Early roster prediction after watching the open practice. Only 4 OLBs with 6 DL. Trent's versatility allows this. Peebles was a beast out there. Try to sneak CJ & Benny to the P-Squad. Broddy & Vorhees restructures means they stay. Can't keep Keyon off the roster.

@ty_jamar I would look more at how Ali compares to the UDFAs instead of Randall. If they can stash a guy on the PS who matches up favorably to Ali, then his spot is in jeopardy.

Big day for Vega, first padded practice. I expect him to handle it well. Sucks he won't be tested by Mads, Calais or Travis. Roger better eat his Wheaties. Tavius and Zion are so, so physical. I love this Edge group!
