Michigan AD Warde Manuel was asked how much credit he deserves for the program's turnaround. "I'll let you guys write how much credit I should get," he said. "Y'all know who hired him. You can say who gets the credit. I'm gonna give the credit to Dusty, the staff, and the team."

Isn’t it just so perfect that after a year long talk about transfers and whatever, the player who made the dagger 3 and dagger free throws to win the National Championship is a 19 year old Freshman from Flint, Michigan

Michigan didn’t just win the title… they ran through everyone. • Beat all 3 Final Four teams • 6 of 7 Elite Eight teams • 9 of 15 Sweet Sixteen teams This is an absurd tournament résumé.

Michigan asst Mike Boynton didn't hold back talking to @CBSSports about allegations of player tampering in the past year. "It's nonsense. I wish people would just write the truth. People are fairly envious of Dusty, and it's because we're doing this." Then he went even harder⤵️

UConn averaged 18 fouls per game. They were severely undersized against Illinois and committed 21 fouls in the Final Four. Not a peep from anyone about fouls that game though. They were severely undersized against Michigan and committed 22 fouls last night. This is who UConn is.

Michigan is the first D1 school ever to win multiple National Championships in Football (1948, 1997, 2023), Baseball (1953, 1962), and Men’s Basketball (1989, 2026).

Michigan held its last four opponents in the NCAA Tourney -- Alabama, Tennessee, Arizona and UConn -- to their lowest field goals percentages of the season. All of them. I know defense isn't always as sexy as big offensive numbers. But we just witnessed a generational defense.

Good lord the constant tears over Michigan’s transfers are hilarious. First, how else did you expect a top tier program to turn things around immediately after going 8-24 two years ago? Second, if all of these guys were such obvious stars then why didn’t it work at their previous team? This wasn’t just a team where money was thrown at guys. Yes they had to spend in the portal but they did an incredible job of identifying talents and personalities that fit together and then getting the most out of them to build one of the most cohesive and malleable teams in the country. There’s a lot of revisionist history going on with how most of these guys were viewed coming into the year.
