I am against any new wars like the ones we had in Iraq and Afghanistan, where thousands of American servicemen and women were killed or seriously injured and billions of dollars were lost with no benefits for the American people. However, Trump is not Bush, Obama, or Biden. He is a true believer in the Monroe Doctrine, which I fully support. A nation in our hemisphere cannot be allowed to flood our country with drugs and illegal immigrant gang members while coordinating with China, Russia, and Iran to destabilize our nation. The Western Hemisphere should be under the political influence of the United States and the United States alone; no world powers should be allowed a stronghold in our backyard. This is not a war on a sovereign nation but an arrest carried out on an individual who has orchestrated the deaths of thousands of Americans through drug and human trafficking. The fact that he was a dictator matters not. This is what I voted for.
