Attn PE Teachers 🚨 Try this - On the last week of school send 4 kids every 5 minutes to their favorite English or Math teacher and have them say "Can I hang out here, my PE teacher said it was ok since we're not doing anything". Good times 🤣🤣

It’s easy to be the Asst Coach, the backup QB, the next person up.... You say what you would do if you were in the top spot. It’s difficult to be the person in charge. Be careful what you say when you are on your way up, as you may think differently if you get that chance.

Life update- Last month, I stepped away from the coaching profession to answer the Lord’s call to full time ministry back in Texas. Val & I are excited for this new chapter in our lives, and i’m looking forward to getting to be a fan of all my coaching buddies! God is good🙏🏽🤙🏽

Football, Basketball and Baseball players along with wrestlers should be on the following rotation and if you don’t agree, argue with a wall. Summer/Fall: Football/Fall Sports- Priority Commitment Winter Sports- Attend when Fall Sports allow, priority if no Fall Sport Baseb….I mean Spring Sports- Don’t even think about it, but stay in the weight room. Late Fall/Winter: Winter Sports- Priority Commitment Spring Sports: Attend when Winter Sports allow, priority commitment if no winter sport. Fall Sports: None, but stay in the weight room. Late Winter/Spring: Spring Sports: Priority Commitment Fall Sports: Attend when Spring Sports allow, priority if no Spring Sport Winter Sports: None, but stay in the weight room.

Why Football? Because I discovered that it’s the only thing I’ve ever gotten out of bed for willingly and of my own accord at 4:30am for multiple days in a row, and that told me that I truly love what I’m doing… SPRING BALL BABY LETS GET IT! 🐻📈#nobodycaresworkharder #gogrizz

Another Prime example of why 7s is dog-water. Tell me whose LBs are lining up like this in an actual game? TELL ME WHO Instead, coaches, like the ones who coach the team pictured, don’t care whatsoever about developing players, but rather on just winning a rep when all it does is develop bad habits, full stop. Pre-season 7s is meant to find where you excel, find where you need to improve and correct those errors. It’s practically a PRACTICE. Development off-season translates to winning in-Season.
