What's your definition of a miracle? Have you ever experienced something close to one?

In ten years the movie "Rowling" will premiere, the biopic about the rise of @jk_rowling. It will star @EmmaWatson as the aspiring writer. I have foreseen it, in the mirror of Erised. #writerslife

@AuthorKAnthony Just tried this. They called my mother and she denied it fervently. I blame you.

Need some feedback on my query letter if anybody's got some time to spare: Dear Agent, My mom says I'm her favorite writer. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Kyle Anthony

It is by comparison that our attributes are exaggerated, for good or ill. Be a subject of this fact and suffer, or Hold this fact as a tool and rejoice.

I hate nuts that you have to shell before eating. Lowkey judgemental. Just let me shovel the nuts in. I know what I'm doing.

@MElaineByler Yes, I love that one too! I designed my own version of it before I knew it had been invented already. I like my symbol more, haha.

Hey, what's your favorite nontraditional or non-alphanumeric symbol you wish you could use in writing and not look crazy? Putting this question out into the æther of the #WritingCommunity and #writerslife

@Beldel26 As in real life, the best way to immerse someone into a new world is by new bits of language.

@HugoRedlocke I’m in the process of making up titles! I needed something for a village healer/ wise man but not a soothsayer! I’ve been trawling ancient Norse, Celtic, English and other European languages for something that worked - ended up combining he basics of 2 words to create a new one!

Every word that's ever existed, during its creation, had someone say about it: "That's not a real word. Did you just make that up?" #WritingCommunity do you often make up words? Or is this a faux pas practice?

@marianlthorpe That's interesting. It would probably also help to ground the reader since there's a kind of etymological familiarity.

Maybe Twitter is right for me. At long last the people I follow respond happily, instead of cautiously reaching for a weapon, their voice shaking as they ask "How did you get in here?"

@HugoRedlocke I sometimes make up words to describe gross sounds, like "blup" or "slurch"

@John_JE_Ellis Now that's interesting. Constructed languages are often quite beautiful. Even something like Dothraki.

I've heard rumors of a #WritingCommunity where the like-minded gather together. I wish to see this haven. I envision vine-wrapped pillars and godly statues in the garden, weathered but familiar still. It sounds like a beautiful place. Hello, writers.
