On this day back in 1978, the A63 interchange roundabout (now known as the Wingfield Farm Roundabout) was in place. On the other side of the estuary, work was progressing well on the Barton Anchorage and southern approach viaduct. #humberbridge #engineering

We are carrying out essential maintenance and repairs works on the bridge from Wednesday 13th to Sunday 17th May, with as much work as possible being carried out overnight or during quieter periods. To allow our teams to work safely during the works, we will be implementing traffic management and closing one lane in each direction at certain times. We would ask that you take extra care while driving through the traffic management and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We can confirm that the Southbound carriageway has been assessed and is now open. However, traffic management and speed restrictions are in place, with the carriageway reducing to one lane around the site of the fire. Please follow all traffic management instructions and thank you for your patience during the incident.

@MrsAA55 Hi there. So unpaid toll notifications are sent to the registered owner, which in the case of courtesy cars would be the garage. It's then on the garage to either absorb that or pass it on to the correct driver.

@HumBridgeNews I have a courtesy car and need to cross Humber Bridge, how can I ensure I don’t get fined in the future if someone else has the courtesy car after I’ve handed it back, who then needs to cross?

Tonight and tomorrow (29th and 30th April) between 10pm and 5am, we’ll be carrying out overnight maintenance works which will mean some traffic management will be in place. You’ll still be able to cross the bridge at all times, however, please follow all traffic management and signage. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time for their journey in order to minimise any potential disruptions. Just a reminder: you have until midnight the day after your crossing to pay the toll. Alternatively, you can pay in advance to save time and avoid having to remember later. The payment methods are via our website humberbridge.co.uk, on our app, over the phone (01482 235500), or at any UK PayPoint location.
