Our #PartnersInAction series continues to inspire us! 🤩 When state and federal nutrition assistance was paused in November 2025, @kyhumane knew the impact would spread to pets—and quickly worked with supporters such as @humaneworldorg and @Chewy to create a pet food bank. 🐾 📈 Within 48 hours of opening, the pet food bank received more than 1,000 requests for pet food assistance. It's now a permanent fixture at KHS's Sam Swope Pet Treatment and Lifesaving Center. With the help of dedicated volunteers and community partners, KHS provided pet food and supplies to 2,150 families in 2025. 💙 Learn more about their incredible work at kyhumane.org.
