@waterkeepermark @swimdrinkfish We keep electing the wrong officials. The Humber River Treatment plant bypassed 1 trillion litres of sewage into the Humber in 2024 and only a little less in 2025. That flows to the waterfront. We have a municipal election coming in October, make this an election issue.

In the Rockcliffe-Smythe neighbourhood, where Mayor Olivia Chow, Coun. Frances Nunziata and MP Ahmed Hussen are announcing $320 million for flood mitigation in the area. The neighbourhood has suffered periodic flooding for years.

The City of Toronto does not have a plan in place that will help the homes that are flooded with sewage water. They are asking for this project to pause until one is in place and so are we. DO NOT CUT ANY TREES UNTIL A PLAN THAT WILL WORK IS IN PLACE!
